Working Together with Indigenous Communities
We are committed to improving our understanding of Indigenous history, culture, and values, so we can improve our service to and relationships with the Indigenous communities in which we work and the Indigenous Peoples who we partner with. In support of this commitment, we have created an Indigenous Commitment Working Group and developed an Indigenous Commitment Policy and Action Plan. Our commitment is based on our long history of working with hundreds of Indigenous Communities on thousands of projects across Canada. We have collaborated with Indigenous Peoples to design and build facilities that have supported sustainable development and become ingrained in the fabric of their communities, including water and wastewater systems, roads and bridges, schools, and community and cultural gathering centres. |
