People Driven Design

For more than 100 years, we have been creating spaces that enhance the quality of life within them and the communities they serve. We call this people-driven design.

Based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, the studio is comprised of architects, interior designers, and planners committed to creating meaningful relationships between people, place, and building. Our studio is actively engaged in teaching, research, and practice to create a better shared future.

As a result, we work at multiple scales to create projects from neighbourhood greenhouses to community hospitals; seaside homes to mixed-use residential districts; and civic institutions to main streets in rural towns. Our designs are inspired by landscape and climate, social and ecological responsibility, and the rhythms of everyday life. We create spaces that bring people dignity and delight while enhancing the communities in which we work.

Yes. This RFSO was competitively awarded in full compliance with the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), CETA, the Atlantic Trade and Procurement Partnership (ATPP), the Ontario Broader Public Sector (BPS) Procurement Directive, the Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement (OQTCA), and the New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA), and all applicable public-sector procurement requirements.

Post a public notice, contact your Kinetic GPO representative to confirm your entity is registered, then reference RFSO 25-17 on your purchase order, and you are ready to order.

Eligible organisations include Canadian municipalities, K-12 and higher education institutions, healthcare facilities, non-profits, Indigenous communities, and all MASH sector entities.
