Our Story

Welcome to Western Cycle Source for Sports, family-owned and operated, and proudly serving Regina and area sports enthusiasts since 1912.

In 1974, we joined Sports Distributors of Canada, a dealer-owned buying cooperative, and that's when Western Cycle Source for Sports came to life. Being part of this group allows us to use our combined purchasing power to provide our customers with a wide range of high-quality products at great prices.

We don't just focus on cycling and sports gear. In 2015, we added Western Sports Apparel & Promotions, where we make custom team, corporate, and promotional items. Whether it's jerseys or branded gear, we love turning our customer's ideas into reality with skill and speed.

Our goal at Western Cycle Source for Sports is simple: we want to share our love for sports, build our community, and give honest, expert advice to everyone who visits us. Western Cycle Bike Shop

We are a full-service bike shop. What does that mean? We service all bicycles, regardless of make or model, and a wide range e-bikes as well. We are on a very short list of Canadian shops that offer a complete menu of bicycle suspension services, including inline shock service and nitrogen recharge.

Our service team is second to none. When you bring your bicycle to us for maintenance or repair, our friendly, professionally trained technicians will assess your bike's needs and provide a free, no-obligation estimate. Our regular turn-around for most services is 48 hours, so you will have your bike back where it belongs in no time. Whether your bike requires a minor adjustment or a major overhaul, we promise your ride is in good hands.

Our bike shop boasts the widest range of products in the region, carefully curated to offer our customers the best product selection for their needs and budget. Our team is made up of avid cyclists from every discipline. We are mountain bikers, roadies, gravel adventurers, bike-packers, tourers, commuters, and cruisers. We use our real-world experience to bring our customers a high level of service and product knowledge.
